Laurien and Lothaire Remixby ~UltimeciaFFB

Yeah, another of the mentioned sketchbook, but this time I redid two pieces: Laurien and Lothaire. The original story behind those two characters are at the original artwork, it's worth to check out.

I was real frustrated as the scanner missed out all the original's piece details. I can say that roughly 60% was left out during the scan. And no, I'm not exaggerating. So I redid it using pen, one black and two tones of gray. And yeah, I cheated, I used vegetable paper, but I re-did the small details such as the fabric from nothing.

More than that: the background is new. I got the inspiration from the notebook I did the original pieces. It's cover is from The Book of Kells, one of the most beautiful manuscripts from the Middle Age. This one is the Gospel According to Matthew and represents the monogram of the Greek form of Christ's name (Chi-Ro, XP).

So yeah, that's an awful amount of information, but this one had a hellish amount of work too, so...
