Impulse was from future and he was cloned by his evil grandfather

And Superboy was cloned by Lex Luthor's ex-wife (also a psycho) and the clone was supposedly superior on powers and intellect. But as he was failed, like Bizarro, his intelligence started to... Well, you get the idea
Both of those clones were supposed to replace the originals XP
