You know, I enjoyed the idea of creating more Teen Titans valkyries, as I did here for the Titans of Myth contest at 
club.
Nope, she isn't a fan character, OC or anything like that. She's Nightstar, Starfire's and Nightwing's daughter from the Kingdom Come, by Mark Ward (also creator of Impulse) and Alex Ross.
From Qikipedia:
"Set some 20 years into the future of the then-current DC Universe, it deals with a growing conflict between "traditional" superheroes, such as Superman, Wonder Woman, and the Justice League, and a growing population of largely amoral and dangerously irresponsible new vigilantes. Between these two groups is Batman and his assembled team, who attempt to contain the escalating disaster, foil the machinations of Lex Luthor, and prevent a world-ending superhuman war.
The series draws heavily on biblical apocalyptic imagery, especially that of the Book of Revelation."
They said "apocalyptic"? That's what Ragnarok is about and why the valkyries get the einherjar (souls of brave deceased warriors) to fight in the first place!
In Kingdom Come sequel, The Kingdom, there is one issue all about her. She's really fright of losing her parents, but she's also sweet, caring and a fierce warrior.
Along with Kid Flash (Iris West II) , Ibn al Xu'ffasch (Batman's and Talia's son, could be Damian Wayne) and Offspring (Plastic Man's son) they are the first team of Kingdom Come Titans. Later, Darkstar (Donna Troy's son), Red Hood (Red Arrow's daughter Lian) and Tula (Tempest/Aqualad's daughter) joined Kid Flash but I don't know about Nightstar :/
Her friends includes Black Canary (Olivia Queen, Green Arrow's and Black Canary II's daughter), Avia (Mister Miracle's and Big Barda's daughter) and Manotaur.
I based her overall drawing from my own Nightstar and it was a process similar to my valkyrie Blackfire: I've picked up 3D models from Valkyrie Profile and started to do the comparative:
Blackfire = Early
Starfire = Lenneth
So... Nightstar I got Silmeria as reference. The rest is story.
I also created a journal with ideas of possible Valkyries. If you want to give any thoughts or suggestion, check it out

Really, really love this drawing of Night-Wing and Star-Fire's daughter! A shame she never made an appearance in either the 1st "Teen-Titans" cartoon or it's connected comic book. She could show up in the new "GO!" show.
