I'm not quite sure if I'm going to use this or not. What do you think?

Yup, Starfire and Raven as Valkyries. In Norse mythology, Valkyries are disir, minor female deities, who served Odin. The Valkyries' purpose was to choose the most heroic of those who had died in battle and to carry them off to Valhalla where they became einherjar. This was necessary because Odin needed warriors to fight at his side at the preordained battle at the end of the world, Ragnarok.

Starfire could be Brynhildr, a shieldmaiden, known by her beauty
Raven I though of Alruna, her name comes from "ali-" (strange or birthing) and "runa" (secret or rune). A fitting name.

EDIT: ok, I've edited it and improved it
I drew Raven's hands, finally, and tunned her magic a bit
I also drew and added Terra. As an inspiration, I based her not on a real valkyrie, but rather on the Valkyrie from the game series Legend of the Valkyrie. I did a fanart of her once here and I thought it could be nice. I just didn't added the winged helm because Starfire already had one.
I also changed the background. Now I got a picture that I know is public domain. I got it here from Wikipedia. The Norse believed that the polar lights were the path to Valhala.

Ok, I decided to publish the 3 pictures as individual images:
- Raven
- Starfire
- Terra

And I also decided to do more Titan Valkyries. Give your thoughts here , there is a list of possible 'victims'

Ok, I'm going to do as much valkyries I can until one day before the deadline (with means April 5th).

So I'm going to update this image April 5th with the new valkyries Some are by " popular vote " and some is because I like them (as Secret) or the idea (as Supergirl). So share your ideas !
